The Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders in the world and also a world heritage site, located in Agra, India. Taj Mahal is the most famous example of Mughal architecture. Most people know the Taj Mahal as a 'symbol of Love' in all over the world. On June 17, 1631 Mumtaz Mehal died at her young age of 39 years, due to postpartum haemorrhage, Mumtaz Mahal was died while giving birth to the fourteenth child of the emperor., The Shah Jahan built Taj Mahal in the memory of his wife, The Taj Mahal mausoleum symbolize the eternal love of a Mughal emperor Shah Jahan towards his third wife Arjumand Banu Begum which popularly known as Mumtaz Mahal. The Mughal emperor Shah Jahan born in 1592, reigned (1628–1658), At his young age, Shah Jahan saw the Mumtaz Mehal at Meena Bazaar on the streets of Agra and fell in love with her. In 1607, Shah Jahan was betrothed to Mumtaz Mahal, that time Mumtaz Mehal was just 14 years old. It took five years for Shah Jahan to marry his beloved Mumtaz Mahal. The Mughal emperor Shah Jahan at the age of 21 years married Arjumand Banu Begum (19 years) on the auspicious day of May 10, 1612.
        The Construction of Taj Mahal was stared in 1632 a year after the death of Mumtaz Mahal and its completed in 1653. It took approximately 22 years to complete this amazing piece of architecture. At that time, the estimated construction cost was around 32 million Indian rupees, in 2015 it would be valued at around 52.7 billion Indian rupees ($827 million US). The construction of Taj Mahal was completed by something around 20,000 people including painters, laborers, stone-cutters, artists, and many others, under the guidance of architects Ustad Ahmad Lahauri. During this construction over 1,000 elephants were used to transport building materials from one place to another. The domed marble tomb is a central focus of the entire building of the Taj Mahal. It's a structure of large white marble which standing on the square plinth. The building of Taj Mehal is bounded on three sides by red stone walls. It is completely constructed with white marble. The emperor had brought the best quality marble from Rajasthan, Afghanistan, China and Tibet. It's believed that more than 28 different types of precious stones, including the striking lapis lazuli, were inlaid into the white marble to construct this magnificent work of architecture. It is part of an integrated building consisting of two red-sandstone buildings and gardens surrounded by a crenelated wall on three sides.
        Did you know that the Taj Mahal changes different colors at different times of the day? The Taj Mahal appears pink in the early morning, turns to a glowing white in the day and changes its color to burnished golden at night in the moon light. The white marble and the reflective tiles help the Taj change colors. The creation of  the architecture of Taj Mahal was globally inspired. It's a amalgamation of Persian, Islamic and Asian architecture. The surrounding pillars of Taj Mahal are slightly tilted outwards so that in the Incident of an earthquake they will fall away from the tomb. The Taj Mahal attracts more than 3 million visitors each year.
