Best places to visit in the pink city of Rajasthan - Udaipur

When it comes to traveling in Rajasthan, the first name comes in the mind is Pink City Udaipur. There is no any doubt that Udaipur is one of the best places to visit in Rajasthan. Although there are many famous and beautiful tourist places are available to visit, but today we will tell you about some special places here, which you must definitely visit when you are in Udaipur.

City Palace
City Palace is one of the most famous and beautiful Palace in Udaipur which was founded in the 16th century. If you are traveling to Udaipur, then don't miss this beautiful attraction. Many Weapons and riding chariots have been displayed in this Palace, which built by the Maharana Uday Mirza. Apart from this, you can also see fine artifacts and beautifully curved structures in this palace. This city Palace is one of the famous architecture marvels in Rajasthan.

Lake Pichola
Lake Pichola is located in Udaipur city of Rajasthan, this lake is a artificial fresh water lake built in the year 1362 AD and it named on the Picholi village. It is one of the several famous lakes in Rajasthan and developed from the last few centuries in the attractive city of Rajasthan Udaipur. Here you can enjoy boating in this beautiful lake of Udaipur. Don't forget to see the beautiful sunset while sitting in the boat. Also, visit the nearest temples of this lake.

Lake Palace
After you see this world's most beautiful palace, you will want to visit here again and again. However, now this palace has been converted into a 5 star hotel, but the tourists are allowed to come here to see its beauty. The rooms of this palace are decorated with pink colored stone, unique mirrors, arches, and with green lotus leaves.

Monsoon Palace
This Palace is also called as the Sajjan Garh Palace or sajjan garh Mahal, it is located on the hilltop of the city of Udaipur in India, overlooking the Fateh Sagar Lake. From this palace you can see the beautiful view of the lake. The palace is situated at the 3100 feet high, which is the most tallest building in Udaipur. It is named Sajjangarh after the king of Mewar Maharana Sajjan Singh, who was built this Mahal in the year 1884. The Maharaja Sajjan Singh built this palace especially to see the clouds of monsoon.

Jag Mandir
Jag Mandir is a another beautiful palace built on the Lake Pichola. It is also called as "Lake Garden Palace". The Jag Mandir Palace is located in Udaipur city of Rajasthan. It constructed by the three Maharajas of the Mewar kingdom. There are hall, courts and residential areas inside of this Palace. The Jag Mandir also has largest garden of flowers, where you can sit for a hour in peaceful environment.

Bagore Ki Haveli
Bagore-ki-Haveli is located on the waterfront of Lake Pichola at Gangori Ghat site. The honorable prime minister of Mewar Amar Chand Badwa, built this Haveli in the eighteenth century. The Bagore's haveli is one of the most famous attractions in Udaipur city of Rajasthan. The place is amazingly designed by the craftsmen of that era and hence it displays the art of that time. The walls also displays the colourful past of the history. This beautiful Haveli was prepared by the Varunti Lal Chawla of Baroda, the style of stairs used in the Haveli was inspired from the farmers of 3 states Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat.
