The story of Man vs Wild fame "Bear Grylls" | Inspirational Stories

Bear Grylls is a survivor expert famous for its Man vs Wild series on discovery TV channel. He is a well known face among those people who love television series Man vs. Wild. Yes, today we know about the man who set a new records for surviving in the wild. His more famous surviving techniques include drinking own urine, eating grotesque grubs and how to live inside a dead animal’s carcass. After the many years of adventure with lots of injuries, Bear Grylls is become a great survivor expert and motivation for lots of people whose have to learn from the story of his life.

Bear Grylls was born in Donaghadee County of Northern Ireland. He grew up in Donaghadee until the age of four years, then he joined the Territorial Army and after passing the selection process, he served as a reservist for three years in 21 SAS Regiment until 1997. In 1996, he suffered a parachuting accident in Zambia, in this accident his canopy ripped at 16,000 ft and causing him to fall and land on his parachute pack on his back, which crushed his three vertebrae. The surgeon said, it was questionable whether Grylls would ever walk again! For the next 12 months, he spent in and out of military rehabilitation.

That accident destroyed his military career. But, after just 18 months of breaking three vertebrae in that horrible accident, Grylls proved that, the hard work and determinations can do anything. In 16 May 1998 he achieved his childhood dream, he climbed the  Mount Everest at the age of 23, he was among the youngest people which achieved this feat. Because of its extreme surviving skills, Bear Grylls continues to inspire people and that's why, he is famously known as the ultimate survivor.

His real is not Bear Grylls, the real name of Bear Grylls is "Christened Edward Michael Grylls". In an early age, he was more drawn to outdoor sports activities such as climbing, sailing and mountaineering. Bear had get the training in skydiving and martial arts by his teenage years and after three years of training he earning a black belt in Shotokan Karate and after that he travelling to Japan to train as a Karate Grand master.

In the year 2000, Bear married with Shara Cannings Knight and now the couple have three sons whose name is Jesse, Marmaduke, and Huckleberry. The family also have a houseboat which is moored by London’s Battersea Bridge on the Thames river and they also own the remote Island of Saint Tudwals located West off Abersoch on the Llyn Peninsula. Both Bear and his wife Shara are Christians and bear describe his wife as a backbone of life. From the survival adventures which captured on camera for the entertainment, he achieve many fans following across the world, Bear has participated in many difficult challenges, both before and after becoming famous such as Crossing the North Atlantic, Dinner Party at Altitude (2005), Journey Antarctica 2008, Longest Indoor Freefall, Northwest Passage Expedition and many more.

Along with his TV and other media work, Bear Grylls has also tried his hand as a motivational speaker to encourage lots of people, for both profit and charitable capacity. He is also tied up with an American knife company, in which he has a series of survival accessories such as knives, clothing, gear and lots more.

Bear Grylls is a great survivor expert, this man teach us lots of unique and useful surviving techniques and skills.
