Dapoli - a unforgettable place where you would always like to go!

The world has lots of amazing and beautiful places which offers great natural views, oceans, terrains and mountains. This places gives us a memorable experience which we can not forget anytime in our life, Dapoli is one of them. Yes, today we know about Dapoli. Ohh! What is Dapoli?, where it is located? And many questions comes in your mind when you hear about any new places. Dapoli is a beautiful beach side town which located in the coastal part of India. This coastal part is called as Konkan. There are so many beautiful places to see in Konkan, but today we know about Dapoli.

Dapoli is located in the Ratnagiri district of Maharashtra state in India. This beach side town offers many beautiful views and places to visit. If you come to visit Mumbai or Goa, then don't forget to visit this place, because it is located between the coastline of Mumbai and Goa. It is located 4 to 5 hours distance from Mumbai and 9 hours from Goa. There are some beautiful beaches, temples and forts for visit. But most of people come here to enjoy at beaches which are surrounded by beautiful and amazing natural views. This beautiful small town is a great holiday destination with a series of beautiful beaches.

Things to do in Dapoli
Dapoli has the longest stretch of beaches from Dabol to Kelshi. With so many beaches, temples and historical activities, Dapoli offers something for everyone.

Harnai Port - This port is located about 17km from Dapoli, which consists of two forts - Suvarnadurg and Kanakdurga. Kanakdurga is the land side fort while Suvarnadurg is the sea side fort.

Murud Beach - Murud is a small sea side village, located about 12km distance from Dapoli. The beach is clean and pleasant and gives you some peaceful time. Here you can also go for watching Dolphins at the end of the beach using boats.

Karde Beach - Karde Beach is one of the most beautiful and unexploited beaches in dapoli. It's short distance location from Mumbai and Pune make it a popular weekend destination for tourists. The extensive stretch of shore line with Sheoke trees is perfect place for relaxing and watching beautiful sunset. Karde beach is also famous for swimming, boating and dolphin watching.

Kelshi Beach - kelshi is the most popular beach in the region. It's untouched scenic beauty makes your trip to Kelshi beach more special. It is approximately three kilometres in length and covered with lush greenery and dense forests. This beach is also a great place for watching rare bird species in the winter season.

Parshuram Bhumi - Parshuram Bhumi is a famous tourist point for its hilltop scenic beauty. The main attraction to see here is a 21 feet tall statue of Lord Parshuram located on top of the hill. It is one of the best locations which offers a marvellous view of the surrounding areas.

Ladghar Beach - Ladghar Beach is famous for its grainy shoreline, water sports activities, boat rides for watching dolphins and the stunning orange sunsets. The ladghar beach is also known as Tamas Teertha because of its red color. This famous attraction also has religious importance due to the presence of some ancient Temples.

Siddhivinayak Ganapati Temple - Siddhi Vinayak Ganapati Temple is a very important pilgrim site in dapoli dedicated to the Lord Ganesha. The temple was built in 18th century by Madhavarao Peshwa on a hilltop amidst lush greenery and is also famous by the name of Kadyavarcha Ganapati. Everyone can get a amazing view of Anjarle beach from this temple.

Here you can visit in any season of the year, but if you want to see this place in its real beauty, then you have to come here in July to November month.
