The Museum of Toilets is operated by the Sulabh International and it is dedicated to the global history of toilets. The Sulabh international museum of toilets is listed among the "10 weirdest museums around the world. The museum is located in the capital city of India - Delhi, which displays the generation of toilet systems from the civilization of Indus Valley in 2500 BC to the 20th century. While walking through the corridors in this museum, you will see the replicas of toilets used by Mughal king Akbar in Fatehpur Sikri, the Maharajas in Jaipur, King of France Louis XIII and Queen Victoria.
This museum is a part of non-profit organisation started by Sulabh International Social Service Organisation and Recently, it revealed the biggest toilet pot model in the world at a village in Haryana state, the village is popularly called as ‘Trump Village’. The toilet pot is 20 ft tall and 10 ft wide. The main aim of this NGO is to spread the awareness about sanitization issues and educate students about the historical changes in the development of toilets.
Sulabh international toilets museum is open for all days expect Indian national holidays, from Monday to Saturday it is open from 8am to 8pm and timing on Sunday & National Holidays is from 10 am to 5 pm. You don't have to pay any cost to enter in this museum, parking and guide tour is also free of cost. It shows the development in the toilet system of the world from last five thousand years to the end of the 20th century.
